Jacquelyn Bongard, O.D., is an optometrist at Quantum Vision Centers, serving patients in Swansea and Maryville, IL. She is trained to manage and fit specialty contact lenses for keratoconus, ocular trauma, dry eye disease, myopia management, and more.
Dr. Bongard graduated from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis optometry program where she then completed her residency in Cornea and Contact Lens. She is involved in the American Academy of Optometry, where she has presented several posters, obtained her fellowship, and is hoping to obtain her diplomate in the future.
Dr. Bongard has also presented posters at the Heart of America Eye Care Congress and the Global Specialty Lens Symposium. In addition to presenting posters, she has presented Continuing Education this spring to doctors at UMSL’s Spring into CE event. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, and the Saint Louis Optometric Society.
Dr. Bongard grew up in Minnesota, moving south for school and to get away from the snow. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking new foods, playing saxophone, traveling to new cultures, and cuddling with her cat, Ellie, while reading.
