Jeffrey Maher, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Quantum Vision Centers, serving patients in Swansea, Maryville, Centralia, Mount Vernon, and Salem, IL. He specializes in cataract surgery and general ophthalmology, including medical treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Maher earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine, followed by his residency in ophthalmology. He joined Quantum Vision Centers in 2004 and has performed over 20,000 cataract surgeries in his career.
Dr. Maher is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
