Eric Wigton, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Quantum Vision Centers, serving patients in Swansea and Godfrey. He specializes in cataracts and glaucoma, including MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery).
Dr. Wigton earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Drury University and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Louis University. He completed an internship with Baptist Health Systems and completed his residency at University of Alabama Birmingham, where he also trained for a fellowship in Glaucoma.
Dr. Wigton is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons.
